Accessories refer to parts or components used in assembling machinery, as well as parts or components that need to be reinstalled after damage. They can be divided into standard accessories (included with the machine) and optional accessories (purchased separately). Their applications cover automotive and motorcycle parts, bearings, valves, and other mechanical fields. Automotive accessories are further subdivided into categories such as engine systems, running systems, body and accessories, involving components such as engine assemblies and bumpers.
There are 7,000-8,000 automotive parts manufacturers, 80% of which have annual sales of less than 100 million yuan. In 2009, sales revenue reached 51.48 billion yuan. Industry production projects include new projects with an annual production capacity of 50,000 sets of automotive parts. Parts procurement involves categories such as hardware and measuring spare parts, and adopts a supplier database-based batch bidding model. Successful bidders are required to fulfill their supply obligations according to the contract period.
